The Hiram Inn, nestled on the campus of Hiram College, is ideally located just 45 minutes from Cleveland or Akron, an hour from Youngstown and 90 minutes from Pittsburgh. Only ten miles from exit 193 on the Ohio Turnpike, The Hiram Inn is the ideal boutique hotel for anyone looking to experience the charm of Hiram and the surrounding area.
11 ~ The Rudolph Suite
With two antique double beds and federal blue walls,the Rudolph Suite welcomes its guests and can accommodate a family of four. Country quilts, custom window treatments and cherry armoire and writing desk are just the touches that will make you feel right at home.
It is located on the first floor of the original Inn and is handicap accessible.
12 ~ The Young Suite
Open the door of the Young Suite and enter a sunny, country farmhouse! This first floor suite features a four poster queen bed, knotty pine armoire and furniture accents, and painted plank flooring.
A stall-style shower accommodates those requiring a low threshold. The cozy room is located at Northeast corner of the original Inn.
14 ~ The Andrew J. Squire Suite
The Andrew J. Squire Suite is adorned with a four-poster queen-size bed and beautiful quilt that beckons a warm and cozy invitation. Antique furnishings and brass fixtures are exquisite details of this lovely space.
This room is a favorite for guests who like to remain on the first floor.
15 ~ The Pelatiah Allyn Suite
As our signature suite, the Pelatiah Allyn Suite is spacious space featuring a king-size wrought-iron bed, writing desk, a vintage cedar chest. Vintage quilt and custom window treatments are details for the most discerning guests.
This room is located on the first floor and is one of our two handicapped accessible suites.
21 ~ The Almeda Booth Suite
With its French provincial toile wall covering, green gingham curtains and country quilts, the Almeda Booth Suite welcomes its guests. The room features two full-size four-poster beds, armoire and and dressing table.
The suite is located on the second floor of the original Inn. As one of our larger rooms, it is an excellent space for families.
22 ~ The Daniel Tilden Suite
The soft, green hues and rich, brown accents of the Daniel Tilden Suite invite rest and relaxation. Located on the second floor of the original Inn, the queen-size bed, Shaker-style furniture and a sunny front window make this room a favorite for those guests who appreciate the history and culture of Ohio's Western Reserve.
24 ~ The Jesse Brown Pounds Suite
The Jessie Brown Pounds Suite takes its guests back to a time of quiet elegance. A wing-backed chair, red gingham curtains, and tiny flowered wallpaper complement the antique queen-sized bed and whisper romance to its guests.
25 ~ The Alvah Udall Suite
From the second our guests enter the Alvah Udall Suite, they are reminded they are special and welcome! The room features a king-size, four-poster bed, large desk and elegant furnishings. Located on the second floor, the room faces the south side of the property and receives the late afternoon sun and it protected by a view of trees.
26 ~ The Amos Sutton Hayden Suite
The Amos Sutton Hayden Suite gently calls are guests to relax and unwind. The pale yellow walls and blue accents offset a delightful corner fireplace, wing chair and king-size wrought-iron bed. There is little doubt why this spacious room is a guest favorite!

With a corner fireplace and cozy wing chair, the Ryder Suite welcomes its guests the The Hiram Inn experience. Lovely vintage accents and custom window treatments are details for our most discerning guests, while a four-poster, queen-size bed invites them to soft slumber and sweet dreams.

Romance is in the air and the Garrett Suite invites its guests to enjoy all that it offers. Wake to coffee and sunshine or settle in under the stars at night on the private front balcony of our lovely second floor suite. Or perhaps you may want to unwind in over-sized whirlpool tub? The antique oak queen-size bed, plush loveseat and mirrored armoire are elegant furnishings that set the tone for a romantic get-away for anyone who desires the Inn's finest.
29 ~ The Buckingham Suite
The Buckingham Suite offers a sophisticated accommodation for guests with a appreciation for "the finer things". From its lovely furnishings, queen-size sleigh bed and corner fireplace, to the view of the college yard and Inn deck this room exudes elegance. An oversized whirlpool bath adds the extra-touch to a lovely stay in this suite.

Eagle Creek Nature Preserve
Eagle Creek State Nature Preserve in Ohio. ... Located in Portage County 2 miles northeast of Garrettsville on Center Road. This preserve encompasses a variety of communities supporting a diversity of flora and fauna typical of northeastern Ohio. Eagle Creek meanders through a wide floodplain dotted with beaver dams, marshlands, small bogs and button bush swamps. Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park
Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park – A short drive east from Hiram Inn will lead guests to Nelson’s Ledges State Park, a small park known for its dramatic sandstone cliffs and rock formations. Multiple trails of varying skill level wind their way through the park, with some challenging hikers to pass through tight crevasses to reach places like the Devil’s Icebox and Dwarf’s Pass. Trees and wildflowers more common to colder climates can be found here including Canada yew and the rare red trillium. Monroe's Orchard & Farm Market
Monroe’s Orchard - Fresh and pick-your-own fruits throughout the growing season can be found at Monroe’s. Best known for its peaches, fans also eagerly wait for strawberries and cherries to be in season. The Farmer’s Market offers vegetables from local farmers. Camp Hi Canoe Livery
With over 25 miles of the Upper Cuyahoga River waiting to be explored, there is plenty to offer those looking to get onto the water. John Johnson Home
- John Johnson Farm - An important landmark in the Latter Day Saints movement, Joseph Smith accepted the invitation of John Johnson to stay at the farm in late 1831. LaDue Reservoir – Situated just north of Hiram Inn, LaDue is a local favorite for fishing, bird watching, kayak trips, and paddleboarding. Electric only boats are also allowed and bait shops can be found nearby to help anglers catch the Walleye, Perch, Crappie and Bluegill fish found in the waters. Public hunting land can be found in park areas adjacent to the waterfront and duck hunting zones are marked. Headwaters Trail – Connecting the small towns of Garrettsville and Mantua, the Headwaters Trail is an 8 mile, crushed limestone trail on the former Cleveland-Mahoning Railroad line. This shade covered path is perfect for biking, running, or an easy stroll with kids or pets. Accessible from multiple points with parking at nearly every trail crossing. Derthicks Corn Maze and Farm Experience
Derthicks Corn Maze and Farm Experience - Kids and adults will enjoy the 17 acre corn maze and farm experience that can be found just down the road from the Hiram Inn. Each year the maze takes on a different shape to keep folks coming back for more. Easy trails for the little ones and challenging paths for those looking for adventure. Hiram Field Station
Hiram Field Station is a 4.9 mile loop trail located near Hiram, Ohio and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and trail running and is accessible year-round. Wandering through the woods, you can breathe easy. With one of the largest mature beech-maple forests in Ohio, the James H. Barrow Field Station is quiet and beautiful, teeming with diverse plant and animal life.
